We’re proud to launch Uber Mujeres in Chile 🇨🇱, a new in-app option that allows women riders to choose trips with women drivers giving them more control over how they move. The rollout began in Santiago, Viña del Mar, Valparaíso, La Serena and Coquimbo, with availability continuing to grow progressively. Uber Mujeres is available through different formats, depending on the city: ✅ Women Drivers: request a trip directly with a woman driver; ✅ Reserve with Women Drivers: schedule a trip in advance with a woman driver; ✅ Women’s Preference: enable the option in settings so the app prioritizes matching with women drivers. In Santiago, we’re also partnering with UpGirl Mobility, a Chilean mobility platform focused on women-led mobility solutions, to help strengthen the presence of women drivers in the Uber app. This launch builds on years of work to make Uber a platform where more women can participate, whether by moving around their cities or earning on their own terms, with more flexibility, more personalization and more options. ------ Nos enorgullece lanzar Uber Mujeres en Chile 🇨🇱, una nueva opción en la app que permite a las usuarias elegir viajes con socias conductoras, brindándoles mayor control sobre su movilidad. Today I had the honor of speaking at the Uber + Arizona State University graduation celebration for drivers, couriers, and their family members who earned degrees through Uber’s education partnership with Arizona State University. It was one of the most inspiring rooms I’ve been in. Many of these graduates balanced coursework while driving trips, making deliveries, raising families, caring for loved ones, and managing all of life’s responsibilities at the same time. This program started in 2018 after a driver, Randy, shared feedback directly with Dara, our CEO, about the need for more accessible education. Since then, more than 1,000 drivers, couriers, and family members have graduated through the program, which is available to eligible drivers and couriers through Uber Pro, Uber Eats Pro, and ASU Online. Hearing the graduates’ stories today reminded me exactly why programs like this matter. My parents always said: “La educación es algo que nadie te puede quitar.” Education is something no one can take away from you. And it’s true. Education creates possibilities - not just for individuals, but for families and future generations. I’m incredibly proud of what this partnership has made possible, and even more excited for what these graduates do next. Congratulations to the entire Class of 2026 🎓 #Uber #ASU
