Hyundai Motor Group and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) have announced a strategic partnership to co-develop future Advanced Air Mobility solutions. As HMG’s dedicated AAM arm, Supernal will lead the aircraft design and engineering for this collaboration. By integrating our technical vision with KAI’s extensive aerospace expertise, we are building a more efficient and certain path to a commercially viable aircraft. Our immediate focus is a comprehensive requirements definition to ensure this joint concept meets the highest standards for safety and global certification. Stay tuned for more. https://lnkd.in/gHM7FiCz (Photo Caption): (From left) Jaehoon Chang, Vice Chair of Hyundai Motor Group; and Jong-chool Kim, President and CEO of Korea Aerospace Industries #Supernal #HMG #KAI #AdvancedAirMobility #AAM #Engineering

We are excited to share that Dr. Farhan Gandhi has been appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Farhan joins us as CTO at a pivotal moment as we enter a new phase of focused technical execution. Under his leadership, we continue our mission to build a safe, certified, and commercially viable eVTOL. Stay tuned for more updates later this year. #Supernal #AAM #Leadership #FutureOfFlight #eVTOL #AdvancedAirMobility

Starting off 2026 with solid progress in the right direction. #riseabove
As we enter a new month of progress at Supernal, I'm happy to share our 5th monthly transition update. I'm very proud of our employees and the interim leadership team for working so well together, and for Supernal, to bring a new aircraft concept to market. Some key highlights from January include: 1) A transition into a prioritized concept design effort to narrow our focus for our customers and investors. 2) Created a new goal setting process, introducing new governance and stronger accountability 3) Supernal held the first town hall of the year where I shared updates from our investor meetings on our next steps and answered critical company questions. 4) Continued a tradition of knowledge-sharing and capability-building which included: Rotors 101, Human Factors training, Design Thinking, technical document writing. Supernal continues to show a strong collaborative mindset, a desire to share our depth of expertise between our colleagues, a willingness to solve problems, and staying motivated through our transition. Our next major milestone will be exciting leadership hires, so stay tuned!

Earlier this month, our Sr. Dynamic Systems Design Manager, Michael Shaw, and Sr. Dynamic Systems Stress Analyst, Michael M., delivered a three-part, six-hour “Rotors 101” course to 150 colleagues from both technical and non-technical backgrounds. The sessions explored how this highly experienced team - drawing from across the rotorcraft industry - approaches the design, analysis, and testing of complex, safety-critical rotor systems. The goal was to build shared understanding of the rotor development process and highlight the challenges faced across the eVTOL space and the broader rotorcraft industry. As we pivot from full program execution back into concept design, sessions like these play a critical role in aligning teams, deepening technical literacy, and accelerating our path forward. (And they're fun. 😁 )

Kicking off the #newyear with more hard work and problem-solving 💪 #riseabove
Another big month of growth and progress at Supernal has been achieved by our dedicated workforce. As we head into the final days of 2025, I am very grateful to not only our employees for working so hard to help us transition, but also to our partners and suppliers who have grown with us and taught us so much. We have accomplished a tremendous amount together as we have built and flown an aircraft this year, as well as the many lessons learned from 5 years of working together. My role as an interim leader for Supernal has taught me a tremendous amount for what it means to authentically “show up” for our teams, to lead with transparency, and the value of investing in a new culture that has brought our people together in company spirit not seen until now. Collectively we have accomplished the following in the final month of the year: 1) Finalized and shared with our parent all content from our initial 90 day action plan. 2) Achieved a new prioritization for our product plans. 3) Developed a new 6 month roadmap for the company to focus on upon returning from our holiday break. 4) Generated new quantifiable metrics that will be apart of a new monthly operational review to ensure our company stays on track. 5) Named our 25th & 26th (and growing) “Transition Champions” who truly went above and beyond expectations to help make Supernal successful. Admittedly, this practice of sharing gratitude and recognition has been my favorite of the many new traditions we have started. Thank you all for your support during this period of change and growth, and I look forward to sharing more meaningful progress in the new year!

Goodbye 2025...we won't miss you ✨ January 1, 2026 looks very different for us than January 1, 2025. With new leadership, new ways of working, and new aircraft plans...it hardly feels like we're the same company. ❤️🩹 Change, especially such major #change, is always a rough road. But reflecting back to where we were on January 1, 2025, it's hard not to feel proud of how far we've come already. 💪 Our future is brighter than it has been in a long, long time. 🛫 Happy #2026 to all of our colleagues, suppliers and friends. The best is yet to come! 🎆 #riseabove #happynewyear
