Sitting on my flight home (another extra leg room exit row, btw!) and I am having yet another sore feet but full heart moment after executing the TD SYNNEX North America Red, White & You Conference. This project challenged me in many ways but I can’t help but feel grateful for the many, many people who helped to deliver execellence for our Public Sector customers and vendors. People like… Jess McCormick who helped you get registered as well as set up valuable networking meetings throughout the week and was likely the smiling face that greeted you when you checked in. Debbie Cooke who secured your hotel room along with over 400 other attendees. Sydney Johnson who helped our Vendor Sponsors shine in the Pavilion. It was her first time organizing a conference pavilion and absolutely killed it with one of the most challenging spaces I’ve worked in lately. Christel Ansmann-Prince who organized several thoughtful touches you saw throughout the conference like charitable giveaways and exciting off-site activities! Melinda Matteson who set our PartnerLINK Amplifier customers off to the races for an exciting post event that included private suite tickets to watch Indy500 practice runs. Christina Jackson who connected everything creative and logistics to make sure all branding and vendor deliverables were executed flawlessly. Troy Legere who worked with all of the MainStage presenters to develop captivating messaging that helped to engage our mission to you. Eric Alkire who kept the show running efficiently and beautifully. Melissa Tomberg and Kathryn Mudge Wiggs who tracked every dollar brought in to help fund all of the incredible moments you were able to witness this week. Kim Gilliland for just endless support in all ways (and an honorary events team member forever). Lloyd McCoy Jr our brilliant MC that breathed life into all of this year’s content from General Session, to break outs, and to interactive labs. Can’t wait to add that flashmob onto next year 😉 Eddie Franklin - the legacy of this program who is responsible for everything you have seen for the past 20 years. We had the honor of celebrating his impact this week and congratulate him on an exciting new role with the company. Wendy Welch - our new leader who is going to take Eddie’s legacy and further it into the future for continued growth and relevance within the channel. But it doesn’t stop there… Thank you to the incredible production minds of James Grevas, Kyle Means and Tiffany Means with Actio Marketing for all that you do. PRA Business Events for decor, entertainment and transportation! Amy Randall for capturing all of these moments! And for Rae Hawkins, our guiding light and Marla Gold, CMP who was unable to join but showed up in spirit…. And on a stick! There are still so many teams that had hands on this event from creative to social media! It really does take a village and I am just so lucky to be a part of it.
